Cabo Fishing report:
As mentioned earlier – The richest sport fishing tournament in the world – The Bisbee Black and Blue marlin tournament was held this week. With a pot of over 3 million on the line – there were 14 black marlin, 54 blue marlin, 10 striped marlin landed that helped anglers make the money list. The top team “Ten Brothers” collected a nice big check for a total of $961,519!
Next week we have the Won Tuna Tournament – considered by many as “Cabo’s Blue Collar Fishing Tournament”. Only a $1000 buy in vs. the $5000 buy in for the Bisbee’s Black and Blue. It’s probably very limited, but if you want to jump in the last minute you might find a couple of Cabo fishing charters available – We however, have been booked for months…
In addition to the marlin caught in the tournament, there have been a fair number of Dorado (in the 10# – 35# range). There were also some good yellow fin tuna. Inshore they are picking up some nice Wahoo.
