CaboFishingPros Weekly Fishing Report
July 17th – July 23rd 2017
Summer temperatures continue to increase, while the numbers of tourists coming out for some deep sea fishing in Cabo are starting to decrease. We had slightly higher humidity due to Tropical Storm Greg, but otherwise we were not affected. Winds and seas continue to remain light.
Temperatures this week as high as the low 90’s with most of the days in the mid 80’s.
Average Water Temperatures:
Pacific 76F – 79F, Sea of Cortez 81F – 85F
Live bait (Cabialito) and cedar plugs
Cabo San Lucas Fishing report:
Welcome to this weeks Cabo fishing report. Fishing has been fairly consistent and good overall, but boats are having to work hard and smart to keep from getting skunked. We are seeing a fair number Tuna, Dorado, with a few Wahoo sprinkled in – but sizes are on the smaller side. Blue marlin, Sailfish and Striped Marlin have also been available, but spread out over the common fishing holes – 1150, 95 and the Old Light House.
Inshore fishing is still producing some beautiful and nice size Roosterfish, but we expect that to slow down as we crawl into August.
No real hot fishing spots this week.
