Cabo Fishing Pros Weekly Fishing Report

July 24th – July 30th 2017

Weather Conditions:
More tropical weather this last week – influence by a couple of tropical storms (Irwin and Hilary) that were located further south before heading out to the Pacific. These storms affected the Cabo fishing with increased swells and a few more rain squalls than normal for this time of year. Winds however continue to remain light to moderate.

Temperatures this week peaking around 90 for the high, and in the high 70’s for the lows.
Humidity 60%

Average Water Temperatures:
Pacific 77F –82F, Sea of Cortez 80F – 87F

What’s working:
Live bait (Cabialito) and cedar plugs

Cabo Fishing report:
Welcome to this weeks Cabo San Lucas fishing report. Despite the increased seas, the fishing has been fairly consistent with a good variety overall. Blue and striped marlin have been found in good numbers, but nothing in the trophy size. Wahoo have been a lot more active. Tuna and Dorado have been a lot slower, but still showing up.

For inshore fishing Roosterfish have continued to show up and give some great fights.
Hot spots for the week have been 1150 and 95.
